Still on hiatus, but…
April 4, 2010So, we were driving to DC on Saturday and P started complaining about the mix of songs on my playlist. Particularly, he didn’t think that a mid-90s Snoop Dogg song (shuddupdon’tjudgeme) should be on the same playlist as Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, etc. He also commented on the fact that I listened to so much rap music in the mid-90s. I pointed out to him that he likes the Snoop Dogg song, so I wasn’t sure why he was complaining in the first place.
It was at this point that he looked up from his sudoku puzzle, adjusted the collar on his J. Crew polo shirt, and said, without a hint of irony:
“Yeah, but I have street cred.”
True story.
